The tourism thrives in Golden Sands and it is not only the conventional tourism that flourishes but also business tourism as well as the balneological and ecotourism. This determines the need of even more accommodations and is the reason in the recent years Bulgarian and foreign businessmen and their companies to invest in construction or purchase of modern and luxury hotels and residential complexes with fully accommodated houses and holiday apartments. Property prices are high but still are of interest for the foreign investors because of the fact that prices are still lower compared to other European countries and Bulgaria is a country with moderate costs of living. A bit less expensive is the off-plan purchase of a house, apartment or villa and in fact is the preferred type of a purchase. The fact that i golf courses are being developed near Balchik and Kavarna determines that Golden Sands will be visited by wealthy tourists and therefore more and various entertainments have to be implemented. Luxurious bars, restaurants, cafes will have to be build, sold or rented or even reconstructed. The abundance of hot mineral water springs is a precondition for the development of modern SPA hotels and complexes at the territory of the resort. In parallel with the development and the extension of the resort arises the need of more shops, trade centers and supermarkets to meet the needs of the increased number of tourists.
